Tora's new health plan has recently been approved, and she is overdue for a physical exam. She visits the local hospital and is sent to an exam room to strip to her underwear, and await the doctor. The exam room is a standard sterile environment, with cabinets full of medical supplies, a scale, and a cushioned exam table with clean white paper.

Tora is met soon by a nurse, who attaches a hospital band to Tora's neck, as though it were a collar. She explains that they treat furs here, as well, and some of them have thin paws, and the bands slipped off all the time when put on the wrist. If Tora shows reluctance, the nurse will attach a leash to the 'collar' and use it to tug Tora around to the scale, and a quick eye/ear exam. She will also take the girl's heartbeat in several places on her breasts.

The nurse will leave her there, and then the doctor will arrive -- along with a dozen or so other people and furs. This is a teaching hospital, he explains simply, and this is why her health plan is so affordable. Tora is given her exam in front of the entire class, including stripping her nude and having her various parts presented to the curious onlookers. If Tora resists, the students will be given a demonstration in how to restrain hysterical patients (and gag them if necessary).

A simple exam will turn quite humiliating as some of the non-human students ask questions about human anatomy, which will involve unlikely explanations as to human girls' comparative breast sizes, sexual excitement, and historical discussion of rectal thermometer use. Over the course of the scene, Tora is likely to wind up tied to the exam table and thoroughly pawed and prodded by a number of people.

At the conclusion of the exam, Tora is about to be set free and allowed to get dressed, when an orderly and a hospital administrator come in. Tora's health plan was approved, but her coverage was not scheduled to begin until next month. She will be cuffed, hobbled, and led through the hospital naked, off to be tried for insurance fraud.
