There are many different races on Mycle. The fauna and animals are very much like Earth, showing I have very little imagination. But mostly because I wanted to write a story based on the mythology of Earth but have my own spin on most of it.
I'm still trying to figure out how humans arrived on Mycle. I haven't exactly figured it out yet but I have a couple of ideas, but they're on Mycle.
There are dragons as one of the other pages explains so I won't explain them here.
These are about the size of a horse, and are generally evil. They hate the humans of the Nations and the dragons that allied with them. They are sentient and can communicate but they aren't all that smart. They are as fast as messenger dragons in the air, and when they fight, usually attack in great numbers.
There are two types of elves on Mycle: the wood elves and mountain elves. The wood elves of course live in the forests of the lowlands, and the mountain elves in the forests along mountainsides.
Dwarves live higher in the mountains then the mountain elves, generally above the tree line.
Human sorcerers and mages, who were just coming into their powers and decided to play around with cats of all kind, created the cat people. They gave the cats bipedal bodies and greater intelligence. The only cat people that survive the best are the ones created from the bigger cats: Cheetahs, Tigers, Lions and Leopards.
Cat people made out of the smaller wild cats didn't survive as much, and they usually made of a smaller stature and smaller intelligence. The larger cats have human like intelligence and have formed small societies and tribes in the forests and jungles around the Nations. They do some trading with human the humans, and sometimes live in the cities.
Cat people made from house cats were rare but they do exist. More magic went into their creation then the smaller wild cats, so they are roughly the same size and intelligence as the larger jungle cats. But they are tamer then the large cat people and are more willing to work with and integrate into the human cities and towns.
Some of the cat people may have moved out of the Nations and set up larger settlements. But as with all other settlements outside the nations these are unknown.
Sorcerers also tried the same thing with wolves that they tried with the cats. They made a mistake though. Since cats are independent from humans, and hardly ever do what humans want them to, and dogs are the opposite, the sorcerers forgot to add in a way to keep control of the wolves. Wolves are different from dogs and don't see humans as an alpha male or female. Without this control the wolves almost immediately broke out and went into the wild.
Because of this there aren't many wolf-men out there, they were seen as unreliable.
